Overview:

Sentara , a nationally recognized nonprofit integrated healthcare system, is seeking an experienced orthopedic surgeon to lead the development of a comprehensive elective orthopedic program at Sentara Belle Harbour in Coastal Virginia . This opportunity offers the chance to shape a growing program in one of Hampton Roads’ fastest-growing regions while benefiting from the stability, resources, and collaborative support of an award-winning, trusted healthcare organization.

Fellowship training or experience in sports medicine or arthroplasty is required. The orthopedic surgery team will be supported by Sentara’s highly regarded, well-established orthopedic trauma team.

Offices are located on the campus of Sentara Belle Harbour, an ambulatory surgery center with two operating rooms and an expanded emergency department, as well as Sentara Obici Hospital , a well-equipped 176-bed community hospital.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $475,009.60 - $552,281.60 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
