Certified Flight Instructors (CFI) have an amazing job teaching people how to fly! Safety in Motion Flight Center is looking for CFIs to teach new and advanced students in a fleet of very well-maintained Cessna 172 aircraft with advanced avionics. As an FAA-Approved Part 141 Flight School, training programs are standardized and provided in a structured and supportive environment guided by our experienced Chief Flight Instructor. For those individuals looking to build flight time, 800-1200 hours per year is definitely achievable. In addition to teaching the general public, Safety in Motion Flight Center is approved for military veterans using their VA benefits and has partnered with Green River College to support their flight program as well. We also provide specialized training (i.e. mountain flying, high altitude/high-performance endorsements, etc.), scenic flights, photo flights, and pilot services. The pay range ($25-35/hr) is dependent upon instructor experience and ratings. Highly motivated individuals can experience greater hours and income!
Our flight instructors enjoy a self-managed schedule to allow for a good work/home life balance. Full-time instructors additionally qualify for medical/vision/dental benefits and paid vacation. Staff instructors also receive deep discounts on flight training to attain advanced certificates and/or ratings as part of their professional development.
