Embark Behavioral Health in Bend, Oregon is hiring compassionate, purpose-driven Behavioral Health Technician's to join our team. In this essential role, you'll support preteens ages 10-17 in a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment, helping them grow through experiential learning, animal-assisted activities, academic support, and emotional skill-building.

Responsibilities - Ensure client safety and emotional well-being through active supervision and documentation
- Maintain structure and boundaries to foster a supportive environment
- Respond to crises using de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed care
- Assist with academic tasks and daily routines
- Participate in recreational and therapeutic activities (arts, crafts, sports, nature walks)
- Support residential upkeep, animal care, and occasional meal service
Qualifications - Age: 21+ years of age or older
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required. Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice or minimum of 2 years' experience working in Human Services, preferred.
- Skills: Quick decision-making skills and a growth mindset with a focus on Embarks core values.
- Experience: Min of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations is preferred
- Driver's License: Must possess and maintain a valid Oregon Driver's License with a clean driving record and meet company insurability requirements.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred, will provide training
- Background Checks: Must pass pre-employment drug screen and federal and state background check in concordance with Oregon state laws.
